Doors
open at 12:00 p.m. Since we do not have
a lobby, should the weather be inclement, we suggest that you remain in your
vehicle until about five minutes before we open.
At 12:00
p.m. the pre-show activities begin. The
audience is greeted by our administrative director and the puppeteers who seat
the children in front of the puppet stage while adults are seated in chairs
around the perimeter of the theatre. The children are introduced to the art of
the marionette as the puppeteers stroll through the audience with some of our
characters. After about twenty minutes of audience participation the stage
curtain opens and the main show begins. At the conclusion of the performance
the curtain re-opens and the puppeteers invite the audience up
to the front of the stage to see behind the scenes, ask
questions about the show and witness a demonstration of some of the
marionettes from the show.
Post-show birthday parties at our
regular Saturday show begin when the rest of the audience leaves the theatre.
Private Birthday Parties on Saturday are booked at 3:30 p.m. (see link above)
This production will also play on
weekdays at 10:00 a.m. for camps, groups, pre-schools and elementary schools.
Discounted prices: groups of under
50: $8:00 for over 50:
$7:00. Allow one free chaperone
for every 7 children.
