THE PAPER MOON
PUPPET THEATRE OFFERS SEVERAL TYPES OF TOURING SHOWS WHICH ARE LISTED BELOW
As with our in-house shows all touring
shows begin with a pre-show interactive session with the audience and finish
with a post-show demonstration and question and answer session.
Current
offerings are as follows:
Two hand puppet shows for smaller venues
and a large touring production
"GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS"
A modern
re-telling with a family of bears at a National State Park
campsite who bear a striking resemblance to the Cleaver family in
"Leave It To Beaver;" complete with TV commercials , a
rock-obsessed little bear and a feisty little Goldilocks .
$300.00 for one
performance and $450.00 for two performances on the same day.
“PUNCH AND JUDY AND THE THREE
LITTLE LAMBS”
Punch, Judy, their dog, Toby, three
resourceful little lambs and a zany wolf who dresses as Little Bo-Peep to catch
his quarry
$300.00 for
one performance and $450.00 for two performances on the same day.
Maximum
seating suggestion for these shows per performance: 200.
“THE SLEEPING BEAUTY”
The classic story is
based on the original fairy tale by Charles Perrault. Beautiful scenery, period costumes and
music from the score by Tchaikovsky enhance the eloquent puppets as they act
out the story. This production is sure to enchant audiences of all ages. The
pre-show features classic marionettes interacting with the audience and a
post-show question and answer session completes the experience. Running time is about an hour and ten
minutes.
The cost of one
performance is $400. and
$600. for two same- day performances.
